The strengths and weaknesses are glaringly obvious with this team, hopefully Fitz and his analytic team are taking notes so he can address those areas in the offseason.

As for the game today, I assume Foote will be in. Keep the Kuok/Jack/Shara line together for now and put him with Nico, lets see what he can do

Ruff is ruining any shot of a comeback for Butcher. It's frustrating. I don't see Tenneyson being a difference maker, and would much prefer to see Butch thrown into heavy reps to close out this season. Why he still isn't cracking the lineup after moving Vats and Kuli both out is beyond me.

Give Butch 22+ minutes a night. It can't be any worse that our D scrambles the past dozen games anyway.

Draft simulator looks better every day tho

2 Things:

1) If Holtz is as good as advertised and he can successfully transition his game to the NHL and

2) you can grab a top 3 lottery pick, then you guys will rise up and get better.

Exactly. That is why I am questioning Ruff and Fitz. A few tradable assets have been downgraded by self inflicted wounds. We should not have gotten nothing for Vats (playing well in Dallas) and Gusev (on a playoff bound team is avg over 17 minutes and has an assist in 2 games, he never got over 17 minutes with Devs this year). They are overextending the youth who soon will have a Buffalo mentality. I like Foote, don't think this is the right step for his progression though. I wanted to see progress this year, instead I only see ineptitude.
